About Kudremukh:
Known for its distinct horse-shaped peak, Kudremukh showcases diverse natural beauty – streams, bamboo shrubs, waterfalls, and lush rainforests. Three major rivers – Tunga, Bhadra, and Nethravathi originate here, attracting diverse wildlife like malabar civets and spotted deer.
Kudremukh National Park:
Spreading over hilly forests and Western Ghats, it covers Chikmagalur, Udupi, and Dakshina Kannada districts. The park’s highest point is Kudremukh peak at 1892 meters, featuring diverse terrains and low-grade magnetite soil that limits plant growth.

Departure from Bangalore at 9:00 PM.
Day 1 (09/12/2023, Saturday)
Reach Kalasa Homestay amidst stunning Western Ghats.
Freshen up, breakfast, and pack lunch.
Trek approximately 5-6 km through forests and mountains.
Lunch amid a scenic 360° view of Western Ghats.
Camp at Netravathi base, relish local cuisine, campfire, and music.
Day 2 (10/12/2023, Sunday)
Morning check-out, visit Samse Tea Estate.
Visit waterfalls for a refreshing dip.
Self-sponsored lunch on the way.
Optional visit to Belur temple.
Depart for Bangalore, estimated arrival by 10:00 PM.
